Kathy holds a BA in English from Rollins College and an MA in English from UCF, as well as being EFSC’s 2005 Distinguished Educator. Kathy uses her 25 years of teaching experience at EFSC to inform her volunteer efforts of teaching Basic Interpersonal Communications Skills (BICS) to immigrants.

In her retirement, she is fulfilling her lifelong dreams of living in the mountains of Northern Georgia, volunteering, hiking, devouring books from the local library, and having creative control of how she chooses to spend her time.
