Jocelyn Crim is currently a librarian at Eastern Florida State College Titusville campus. She holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from University of South Florida, an M.F.A. in Technical Theatre (with an emphasis in Costume Design) from The Ohio State University, and a B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University.

She originally intended on pursuing a career in costume design for the theatre, but decided to leave the profession after a physical disability made it too difficult to continue. She began working at EFSC in 2013 as a Library Technician where she soon discovered what seemed obvious: the library is a fun place to work. She then decided to become an academic librarian. This seemed like a natural choice, as research was one of Jocelyn’s favorite parts of the costume design process. While working on her master’s, she served as an Administrative Assistant for Eastern Florida Online.

Jocelyn’s interests including going to the theatre, cosplaying, comic books and comic book movies, video games, as well as other nerdy pursuits. She is excited to be a member of the Asterisks & Anomalies team.
